TheCanKey Announces New Cut-To-Size Filler Nozzles for Small Oil Filler Openings
TheCanKey is proud to announce the launch of a new product designed to simplify clean and precise oil filling for aircraft engines and gearboxes with oil filler openings smaller than 18 mm in diameter.
The new Cut-To-Size filler nozzles will be available to the market in Q1 2026.
Product Overview
The Cut-To-Size filler nozzles are manufactured from durable PE plastic and are fully compatible with TheCanKey FunnelCap, making them suitable for use with:
- Piston engine oil bottles
- Turbine engine oil quart cans
- Hydraulic fluid gallon cans
Each set includes two nozzles and will be priced at USD 4.95.
Easy to Use — and Easy to Adapt
Each nozzle set contains two clear, transparent components:
- One Cut-To-Size nozzle, which can be trimmed to precisely match the diameter of the oil filler opening
- One cap nozzle, used to seal the open nozzle and prevent dust or debris ingression during handling and storage
The transparent design provides full visibility of the oil flow, helping maintenance personnel avoid overfilling and spills.
Designed for Small Filler Openings
The Cut-To-Size filler nozzles are ideal for oil fillers and reservoirs commonly found in:
- Helicopter gearboxes
- Hydraulic reservoirs
- Air Cycle Machines (ACMs)
- Turbine engines with small oil filler ports
They are especially useful for aircraft with restricted filler openings, including:
- HondaJet HA-420 equipped with GE Honda HF120 turbofans
- Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 powered by Williams International FJ33
- Aircraft powered by Williams International FJ44, such as:
- Cessna CitationJet series
